The vineyards are located in the south of the Gard region, the soil is predominantly clay-limestone. The wine is made from a grape variety resistant to fungal diseases, “Floréal”. This variety of grapes exempts the winegrower from carrying out several phytosanitary treatments and therefore contributes to promoting “clean” viticulture.
ln the heart of the southern vine1,Jards, the grapes benefit from sunshine which favors their maturity. The soil is varied: ln the north clay-loam, in the south cla1,J-sand1,J with the presence of rolled pebbles of various kinds.
The year 2024 begins under the best auspices for Jacques Frelin Vignobles, while several of our vintages have been honored with distinctions during various competitions.

Alongside our local washer Oc’Consigne, a prominent member of the France Consigne national network, we were present at the stand area for lively discussions and reflections on the reuse of wine bottles on a national scale.
